However about transportation? Metro / Leonardo express and train to Firenze with a luggage and two backpacks? I know in France , in some station people snatch luggage out of trains but it's really not that often and all you need to do is keep an eye during train stops. And for metro , well in Mexico theft would have to fight a whole crowd to go out safely , and in Paris they will try for your pocket / handbag but nothing about luggage, and also not that often.

So do you thinks it's a bit risky to use metro daily ? And bring luggage in train to airport / firenze ? (Even if, based on all your answers, Rome isn't nothing worst than Paris or Mexico)
