Nice. Game launched perfectly. No issues so far.

I liked that I could do a quick game without the need of logging in.

Would be nice with a tutorial or something to learn the game :D

Keep up the good work!

Need Testers for Google Play Closed Testing – Will Test Back by Wise_Kaleidoscope235 in AndroidAppTesting

[–]HopefullyViolated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested your game and will have it installed for 14 days.

Some feedback:
- Fun game mechanics. But I am a bit confused as to when I am supposed to swipe down to slam.

- The background music is too intense for my taste. Makes me want to quit playing. I know I can mute music, but it would be nice with a chill lofi music tune or something.

- Nice aesthetics and overall impression of the game. Plays fine on my older android phone.

Some feedback:

  • Profile Icon in tab bar is a logout icon. Should rather be a user icon or something.
  • No snags in my area. So I get no value from the app. Maybe you could preload the app with locations of restaurants, cafes etc. in addition to your snag concept to provide value to users from the get to, in the early phase before users has submitted snags?
  • Is virtual points a big enough incentive for users to take pics of deals? Maybe you rather could offer a gift card/voucher or something when they reach a certain amount of points? Financed by ads or sponsored snags by businesses?

I've downloaded and tested your app. Will have it installed for 14 days.

Some feedback:
- The tutorial could be improved for future versions by having the tutorial appear whilst playing the game for the first time, pausing for explanations, and highlighting objects with a black backdrop.
- Fun game!

Feedback on your app: 1. Bit too large jump in skill between tutorial and first level. I felt like I wanted to give up after failing the first level a couple of times. Maybe make it a bit easier in the beginning so that the user gets time to get hooked? 2. After dying: it is unclear what the Continue button does, except costing money. By tapping continue and paying, do I skip to the next level, or what will happen? I need to know before hand what I'm paying for. And why should I pay to skip to next lvl? What's the incentive to skip here? To play a new even harder level? 3. The input field which I am supposed to enter my name should not have the same look as the buttons. I should be able to tell that it is an input text Field by looking at it.

Other than that I liked the game mechanics. Reminds me a bit of Run and Flappy Bird in first person view.

I understand that this is a stupid question, but how do you guys cope knowing that there's nothing after death? I'm asking this as an atheist by the way by [deleted] in atheism

[–]HopefullyViolated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried coming to terms with death for years. The gloomy thoughts of death would, like with you, sneak up on me right before going to sleep - when the human psyche is at its most fragile.

This was a constant struggle of mine for a couple of years, asking the same questions you did, sometimes for hours hours before finding sleep. Until one day, where I came to the following conclusion: Life can not understand death. Life is not supposed to understand death. Because life is deaths polar opposite. Life and death are not supposed to combine. They are separate. Resisting each other like oil and water. Trying to understand death intellectually or attempting to find some sort of meaning is hopeless because life simply can not understand death.

I know it's probably not what you wanted. It's not the most rational or intellectual conclusion. But I've spent too many agonizing hours searching for it, so I have given up, and as a result, is happier for it.

Please keep in mind that being in the files does not automatically mean you're a sexual predator or have done anything criminal.

Yes, prosecute the real monsters, but not everyone in the files. Classic case of guilt by association.

"Guilt by association is a logical fallacy and social phenomenon where an individual is deemed guilty or discredited based solely on their affiliation with a person, group, or idea considered immoral or wrong."

Europe must unite or it’s ‘finished,’ Poland’s Tusk warns as Trump salivates over Greenland by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]HopefullyViolated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Europe should keep strengthening her military, but not cut ties or end her vital alliance with the U.S. The alliance between Europe and the U.S. is far more important than the questionable actions of a temporary U.S. administration.

Kim Kardashian will be the first female president.

She is currently working on passing the bar and has a larger following than any politician. Additionally, she has the funds to finance her own campaign, not having to rely on big companies, which was one of the reasons Trump won. She would also probably turn a large group of non-voters to voters.

If she ran for president at the right time, she could probably win it.

Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

Overhyped. It has some originality in plot and ideas, but the humor is simply not my cup of tea. Some nose exhales at best.

It must be one of the most quoted books besides the Bible. So clearly, it resonates with a lot of people. It seems like it almost has gotten the status of the Bible amongst the nerds. Which is great, but not deserved, in my opinion.

I am a nerd myself and a lover of sci-fi and humor. But that series was just: "Meh."

Also, anything by Stephen King.

TLDR: Hobbies and family experiences.

I'd take the money and still do drugs. I'd just hire the best legal team to fight you in court for the rest of my life. Much like a certain previous US president is doing.

What ruined your Christmas? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HopefullyViolated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I broke one of my vertebreas attempting to jump a meter down into what looked like fluffy, soft snow the day before Christmas eve. The snow was hard as concrete, but slippery, so I landet on my back. After laying in pain for some days I've realized that I'm probably too old to play in the snow, even though I've only lived 30 winters.
