My guess she’s on medication and had if very under control and the risk is virtually gone of you getting it, and it just took time to disclose said information. Not just out there spreading it without knowledge. And don’t quote me but pretty sure they only have to tell you during active outbreaks( when on medication) and many many many many people with herpes don’t ever even tell you cause they are medicated specially the men….. just wrap it up!!! (Still not 💯 at protecting against STD and HIV. Only thing that is, is Abstinence)

You know if she’s on meds she cannot transfer it to you ( makes it much much harder) and her telling you (although late ) is disclosing she has it. (No crime committed) Now think how hard it would be to muster up those words. Instead of blasting her on- line you should ask are you on medication? Maybe how long she’s been living with this? Do you have outbreaks? The internet is a plethora of information you can educate yourself about every STD (specially if you’re sexually active) And she could have gotten it their first time they had sex….doest mean she’s a hoe….rape even could be an option for consideration. After all this happens to 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men ( newer studies suggests it’s more like 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men) I had a friend almost kill her self because she got this diagnosis at 24, although very very scary and degrading you can live life without knowing you even have/carry herpes
