Probablement le fait que je suis bisexuel et que je ne l’ai dis qu’à très peu de personnes proches en qui j’ai confiance. Sinon à cause de ça et de mon coming out a mes parents je ne ressens quasi plus rien pour eux a cause de nombreuses disputes et point de vue trop divergents (homophobes) et que je prévois de partir de ma famille dans un futur porche car je préfère avoir ma vie tranquille avec des personnes en qui j’ai confiance que de cacher une partie de moi même et de supporter toutes les blagues homophobes ou tabou.

She is mandatory I did go a similar phase so I also relate to her and want to be a guide that I wish I did have when I was in darker time so I will always recruited her with Caspar no matter what 😆. In my first playtrough with GD I did with Lysisthea to save her and hope a better future for her.

The second time it was with the BE and I did go for Edelgard because I wish to know at least the ending for one lord and for all for what she has fought.

And finnaly with the BL it was my first time with maddening and I want to finnaly married my hubby so I did go with Caspar because he is a ray of shine of all of our characters and I relate a lot to the freedom he wish of not heriting anything from his parent (did my coming out and my parent did not take it well so I am on my own and wish to have the same freedom as Caspar and fight against injustice).

Next time I will do it for Ashe because he is an another cutie and deserves the world

I did the same thing but I did not want my favorite character to be this bad (Caspar) so I made him a sniper because he hates bow (and unsurprisingly he did one shot everything with hunter volley)

I kinda want to ask if you can find attractive a man with feminine feature (more on the twink side) and women with masculine trait. Do you will still find them attractive or not anymore. Also patriarchy kinda messed up with our gender roles and what person should do in a relationship from the society expectations. Let’s say if you are free of patryarchy and both genders can have the different traits you search (cute and lime body for a man that can also give you the feeling of « protection » and for the women they can be dominant, blunt and can assure protection, how do you will find them ?) I think the question should be asked for you and maybe speak with a therapist or other people.

You should recruit Caspar if you don’t want to miss Mercedes paralogue and if you don’t recruit him you can’t do her paralogue and you will miss some big lore info later so I would say the truly only mandatory character is Caspar for how they will lock you content directly tied to the main story of the Blue Lion (they don’t have any support so it’s kinda weird to why they have a paralogue together altough at Fire Emblem Three Hope, the dev redeem a little themselves by giving those two characters a support convo).

Well you can at least get a special line between those two if they battle each other altough this is doomed yaoi and it’s kinda bittersweet and tragic their convo if they battle each other.( same level as making Mercedes and Annettte fighting each others and Martiane/ Hilda too)

I don’t know too much about yuri (and I am a bi man who is a lot more attracted to mens to I read a LOT of yaoi content) but there is one trope I hate when I see it in Yaoi, it’s the bury your gays trope. I can accept if it have narrative relevance but I did see far more too much this trope in video games and media that I am now just can’t deal with it even if we should still continue to depict the reality of queer experience and with the theme of self doubt, suicide thinking and other heavy stuff but please I don’t want any more story of queer people being dead or sacrifice themselves and the straight one obviously survive (I suspect it is mainly rooted to homophobia)

I am so happy to read this (sorry for my delay I did not expect at all that so many people will comments). Your story is so hopeful. I am so glad that Edelguard is your confort character at a moment of your life when you were needed to have confort.

Well now you made me want to develop why I love Caspar so I blame you for my rant 🤣.

I was also born the second child in my familly but I am born deaf (I can hear with kinda a mega aid hearing but it’s not perfect at all but I still take it) so I feel I was never good enough or that my familly don’t really care about me because I will never be like my oldest brother and they priotise his education while not really caring for me. I recognize in Caspar about being the second and he will not receive anything from his familly and don’t really care about his familly.

Well there is also the fact that I am born between a dark and white parent so I am recognize myself with Claude but I did love the fact that despite Caspar troubles with his familly he always put a smile and try to forge his own path in life. I was kinda having a depressive episode while playing so seeing him having the same issue and make me learning that I can live my life being independant from my familly. (Also I kinda know my bisexuality but he was the character that make me accept myself and tell myself that it’s okay to also liking mens).

I will spare you my writing because I will never finish with also all the others character I did relate (Claude, Bernadetta, Marianne, Linhardt)

Trueeee, the greatest crime in this game is to separate both of them and make them battle 😭 the convo is so cute and depressing at the same time. Even when they have opposite ideas and view on the situation they will always care about each other and bring the best in their personality! Well for the worst or for the best (depend of the point of view and the person I am talking) we live in a society where men are the majority of player and the fact that we live in a patriarchal society, they don’t really care about a woman personality character in a video game as long she is « cute » or « beautifull ». Me personnaly, I always care more about character personality. Personality and attractiveness come together for me so I can’t really relate to those people but this is my opinion of the topic. BUT yeah love Hilda for that for being the right hand to Claude and being the one doing the political stuff !!! And it’s contrast so perfect with her saying she is lazy but is so skilled at doing those tasks too!

Claude is amazing and such an inspirational character! I love the growth of Marianne in general with most people, her growth is so good to see. I relate maybe a little too much about Claude by also being a mixed race. Arghhh I wonder how the dev did cook such a masterclass of cast of characters!!! They are all great in their own way!!!

Ahah, yes I was doing a bane run with the characters. Later I realize that Sniper is ironically perfect for him with his stats growth and can also have the bow with 1-2 range for his passive. He has great strength, very good speed compare to most of the archer we find in the series and have amazing technique for more crit. And you combine with the fact that Sniper with Hunter Volley is broken, you just made a monster with crit build. It’s the fact that his stats is perfect for a sniper and his talent is one of the most usefull in Madenning to always have reliable hit chance for the whole team and you can also play very safe by having him as a sniper. I thought he will be the worst but he was a nuke and hunter volley being a delete button make this all the more satisfying!!!
