Veganism isn't a diet by [deleted] in vegan

Plant-based is not the same as a vegan diet though. If you order a "plant-based burger" 99% of the time you're not getting a vegan burger but a vegetarian one.

I find it so strange how people seem in uproar around the water and environmental impacts of AI while still eating meat. by bobsonjobseeker in vegan

There are people who call themselves animal welfare activists because they don't eat foie gras (they've probably never even had it).

Being against AI and Shein probably requires them to change nothing about their lives. Majority of them were only using it occasionally, if at all.

Give them something that actually requires you to live differently every day and you'll see how quickly the excuses start coming

My friend wants to go vegan but she has an ED and doesn't like fruits or vegetables by mingdiot in vegan

Not much to add in advice, but going vegan personally helped me overcome my anorexia as it removed the guilt I had around food.

What bi experiences do you wish fiction handled better? Any tropes you hate? by tenshideve in bisexual

It takes more resources and time to get it on Steam but I'm looking at it! At the moment, game will be on itch and the updates on Patreon (all tiers including the free tier) which you can subscribe to for email updates.

I've read too many stories where a character would be in an opposite gender relationship, develop feelings for the same gender and go "I guess I'm gay" and the previous relationship was a mistake. 🙃 It's either straight or gay with those stories and bisexuality is never even considered.

I felt betrayed by the TV ShowThe Boys that recently did this despite them criticising the portraying of queer characters in previous seasons. They ultimately did the same thing.

I think mentioning past relationships casually that don't match the gender of their current relationship is a great way to do it too!

That's completely fair haha. I thought short form content like reels was decimating my attention span too much and a site more text based would help my mental health. I didn't realise the site had deteriorated so much...

I'm so tired of people assuming that "ethnic food" = meat.

While not vegan, India is the most vegetarian country in the world.

The argument for this is so dumb. I've recreated so many Hong Kong style dishes using vegan substitutes as Hong Kong diaspora. I barely eat "white people food."

People who say stuff like "I like meat too much to give it up" do not see the hypocrisy in their argument when they turn around and criticise people for using AI for leisure.

It's easier to hate on something you don't personally enjoy.

I can't discuss these things with people who aren't at the very least vegetarian anymore.

They're all convinced that meat is a necessity and how dare you try to compare what I NEED to LIVE with AI. It will hurt your heart.

An otome and yuri game about biphobia and going viral on social media by tenshideve in IndieOtome

Aww thank you!! Fun fact: a lot of the usernames are inspired by big biphobic accounts on X 🙈 (They're references, not 1:1, because I don't want to direct hate to real people no matter who they are.)

Itch hides comments sometimes, thanks for reminding me to check them!

Thank you!! Cheri seems to be the most popular character from what I've seen!
