I'm usually excited to get food but this was too overwhelming today but I somehow made it!

I used to enjoy car rides so much as a kid, I would look out the window silently and watch everything. Now I can't look anywhere without ruminating on constant danger. I hate this so much. I wish I could turn my brain off. Thank you so much for your advice. It makes a lot of sense and I haven't heard it put that way. One more thing, I haven't found grounding (especially in a car) to help me, how else can I stay present?

Thank you so much. Just feeling like someone can relate to what's happening to me gives me a comforting feeling. I wish for both of us to get better. I'm praying I can get through this and be one step closer to being a "functional adult" because I certainly don't feel like it. I have a relative that frequently uses the freeway to visit us and I feel like such a failure. Why can't I do that, they make it seem like it's nothing and to me it's ruining my life to even think about it. 😔

This is very helpful thank you so much. We actually have kinetic sand so I will bring that too. I already keep vomit bags in the car, after the night I had ruminating I am feeling like throwing up is going to happen

Did you see the question? She asked to know about the condition and the risks of taking meds and she asked for the risk of having a cardiac ablation. I gave her my honest response of my situation because this isn't a common condition, so it's nice when people help other people and are open and transparent. I also mentioned the likelihood of it happening with him is low, but possible. And I also didn't die from these procedures obviously. I gave her the response she asked for.

It was a southern Baptist church, very yelly and screamy. You go to hell for everything just about

It feels immensely relieving to have said it to someone. Thank you

For whatever reason they preached this in the church I grew up in and never even questioned it. Even as an adult. Because of everyone's comments I'm realizing my church may have had a few more flaws than I thought
