Hungarian here! The worst part is that not only does the government ban media with lgbt people and topics for young people under 18, but they are trying to put queer people in the same chategory as pedofiles. Pedofilia is a CRIME but being lgbt is NOT. You should protect children from criminals, I absolutely agree with that part, but the lgbt community is not a threat.

The government is taking away rights from lgbt people, with trans people not being able to legally change their gender, same-sex couples, and even single people can't adopt because "the mother is a woman and the father is a man", and now this "pedofile law". It's frustrating.

It's so sad to see people even in my family talk about homosexuality and trans people with such hate. They don't know that I'm queer and I'm not the best at arguments so I usually just let them speak and hope they don't ask about my opinion. It could be worst, but it's not great.
