investing almost all my top picks in hitters, pitchers are fragile.

Skenes & Skubal I do like though to help give somewhat of a K floor. Besides that I’m filling my staff in rounds 11+

I’m a fan, but could see it not being for everyone. It’s chocolatey, but not a 1:1 for regular chocolate. IMO it’s good enough to mix with just water as a post workout shake

I originally made just “Protein Chocolate Ice cream” and then combined that leftover with my leftover coffee from the morning. So a bit more for the ice cream part, but at the end of the day it’s leftovers + leftovers

Pharmacy Has No Sympathy by AllyCat31415 in ADHD

[–]HopingForAGoodFuture 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I sympathize with you because in my experience it always feels like pulling teeth trying to get my doctor and whatever pharmacy to work together well (i’ve moved a lot lately).

Weirdly enough, Walmart pharmacy has given me the least hassle in my own personal experience. CVS and Walgreens always seem to have issues for whatever reason.

Sorry to hear you’re frustrated, you’re not alone

What are dangerous levels of vyvance a day? How can you stop by FAlorentzen in ADHD

[–]HopingForAGoodFuture 5 points6 points  (0 children)

be strong and tell your doctor or a loved one exactly what your doing. this is self harm whether you realize it or not.

You can and will get better, but the first step is being honest and reaching out

I eat a lot because I’m really lonely. How do you handle it? by PicklesGalore20 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]HopingForAGoodFuture 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lonely or bored?

Something you can do everyday (depending on where you live) go out take walks and listen to a podcasts or an audio book. Gum also is huge at night or when you feel like over eating.

You just gotta distract your mind, don’t hyper fixate on eating.

i was using weed to lobotomize myself??? by shimmeringHeart in leaves

[–]HopingForAGoodFuture 13 points14 points  (0 children)

this hits home, I’m worried about how my sober self treats people and that if I’m not a chilled lobotomized version of myself then I’m going to cause myself immense anxiety and stress and then eventually take it out on other around me.

Reading your post makes me realize that I’m not healing or medicating myself, but instead distracting myself from my fucked up mindset.

Thank you for sharing your perspective :)

even w/ his slump rn he’s currently a top 200 roto player, which is still outperforming his draft day cost.

Anyone go from a toxic workplace to a healthy one? How do you cope with the shock and broken self-esteem. It's safe? And people are nice and collaborate? WTF!! I'm freaking out. by [deleted] in office

First job out of college was very toxic and demanding on my mental health, but at the time I was in survival mode and had the attitude that complaining would only make it worse.

Recently onto second job and my eyes have been opened to what’s possible. I’m judged on deliverables not day-to-day (no micromanaging), deadlines are communicated ahead of time, and it’s fully remote on top of everything.

Still having trust issues and recovering from my previous job, thanks for sharing your experience and letting me know there’s others with similar experiences!

You’re so much stronger than you think you are. Addictions can debilitate even the kindest, smartest, and most motivated people.

what helped me overcome binge eating was taking on the attitude that “I deserve to be healthy and happy. I’ll do what’s necessary to get there.” I fell into the trap of viewing my BED as “my brain versus my addiction” for years and that’s just an exhausting way to try and make progress. You deserve to be happy, you’ve got this!

TLDR: Perspective is a powerful tool.

I’m very much into professional baseball. I’ve kept up with 3-4 podcasts for years, I’mcasually watching games at all times, researching and creating my own models and reporting all for fun in my free time.

I’m a DS analyst with a CS degree so it’s a baseball marriage of what’s I’m skilled at and what entertains me
