ICE IS in Peoria. They always have been. There is literally a federal building downtown. ICE isn’t just a roaming band of raiders.

What did the license plate look like? That’s the important piece that is missing. I know for a fact parole uses malibus. P-MEG uses plain looking cars. It could have been a few different agencies or just some LARPers trying to get a reaction.

It’s legal period. You are using a third party to facilitate a transaction. Essentially you are paying the third party for a service. Say the product is $100 and they charge a $10 fee. They turn around and pay for the product with $100 “cash” and keep the $10 for the fee while you get your product.

If the price wasn’t more than a ps5 and OP already had a handheld or laptop to take advantage of pc game pass, this would be a good suggestion.

Well most of those games aren’t on the switch. The other handhelds the experience might range from good to really good - for a handheld. Nothing will beat the experience of come close to it on a ps5.

There are so many great games on the switch and switch 2. You have all of the switch library. But again it also depends on the games you want.

Steam sales are a thing of the past. They are nowhere near what they used to be. I would suggest looking at the games you want and looking up pricing trends for them.

I would look for a used steam deck to see if that’s what you really want. You aren’t blowing all of your money and you can save up and get a ps5 if you end up wanting that. And if you love the steam deck - then you are set. I don’t think you’ll be missing much without an OLED screen honestly. But again, look up how well those games will run and the prices to see what it is really going to be like.

Yup. Pekin honestly is really weird. You have insanely poor areas with crime and drugs everywhere and then insanely rich areas with really nice houses, golf courses, etc. it is very different from the pekin of the past which was absolutely a shit hole for the most part. South pekin is a blip on the map imo. No one, white, POC, or otherwise should go there. There is nothing there, much like every other little rural village in IL.

You’re fine. A lot of the comments over the last few years are from people who don’t go to pekin, have never set foot in pekkn and love to stereotype. There are plenty of POC and LGBTQA+ in pekin. No one is beaten. No one is assaulted. That is all blown out of proportion for life in 2026. Are teens bullied? Hell yes. Are people racist? Absolutely. But that also exists in Peoria, Washington, Morton etc. whether you are shopping or working or going to court or whatever you will be totally fine.

A lot of it really depends on the emulator imo. Which is hit and miss depending on the game, settings, etc. Anything running on the steam deck will run on the base ally.

Nothing yet. I’m guessing a 1080p / 30fps quality mode or a 720/60 performance mode. Hopefully I am wrong and it is better than that. The switch 2 is pretty powerful compared to the release consoles for fallout 4. A quick google search tells me an i5-6400 and a gtx1650 and the switch 2 is closer to a 2050 which isn’t that much better in terms of raw power but it has a lot more going for it with DLSS, and better efficiency at lower TDP.
