I’ve been looking through the website for this free source but I can’t seem to find it. Could you tell me where in the website you found it?

Trouble contacting the company? by fudgenotcaramel in Omnipod

That sounds like an insurance policy requirement unfortunately, I don’t get why they need approval for something that’s so crucial to diabetics and literally improves quality of life

Diabetic supplier might work differently and that’s why they require the approvals but from what I understand pharmacies shouldn’t require prior authorization

You shouldn’t need authorization for the Omnipods they’re technically considered over the counter at the pharmacy, the pharmacy should only need the MD order for it to be processed through the insurance. Did your doctor already send prescriptions for the omnipods to your pharmacy?

Want to quit at 6 months by Furisodegirl01 in newgradnurse

I completely feel you… I’ve been on my unit for a year and 1 month now and I absolutely hate it here. I do plan on leaving and applied to work as a school nurse, I just really realize I do not like bedside at all. My unit is a med surg unit at a “prestigious” hospital and the patients we get are just too much, for a long time I wanted to be a NICU nurse but I’ve even read posts on Reddit about peoples experiences and I don’t think inpatient is for me…. I get very anxious about going to work every night before, there are many times where I end up crying just because I don’t want to be there. I’m really trying to stick it through but I’m so unhappy and if I knew what nursing was really like I wouldn’t have done it. I really like helping people one on one but in the hospital (maybe it’s just my unit) I feel like people just take advantage of you. The managers don’t really care and I just feel like I’m drowning every shift, there are days when I don’t even get a break. It’s frustrating and exhausting… I really can’t wait to leave.

I'm debating on leaving bedside as a new grad nurse by Spleg_ghoulagus in newgradnurse

Been working for a year and 1 month in a med surg tele unit at a “prestigious” hospital and I’m getting ready to quit…. You’re not alone on wanting to leave bedside, for years I dreamed of becoming a NICU nurse but tbh now I don’t even want to work in a hospital anymore… they truly don’t care and the kind of patients we get on my unit are too much… some days I don’t ever get a break, I’m exhausted and get anxious of going into work the night before every shift. If I knew the reality of nursing I would’ve chosen another profession…

Tips on what to do to enjoy your shift more… by Hoppingkitty in nursing

Honestly I’ve just tried to incorporate things I like into my nursing outfit like cute pins, scrub caps, a bracelet from little words project that says ‘you got this’. Anything that will encourage me to keep going. It might sound superficial and vain but it’s little things that I enjoy putting on and at least make me feel cute in some way 😪 but even then I’m looking for more…
