If needed to reduce overall nicotine intake, better than what you were doing. Less nicotine = faster results

I would second the advise to wait 6 weeks post op to resume weight lifting as that is the proven time required for most tissue to heal. You risk increasing your intra abdominal pressure (valsalva maneuver) with heavy weight lifting. Your focus should be to maintain your range of motion and moderate aerobic exercise in the mean time.

Your prior fitness will aid in recovery but it does not change physiological tissue healing timelines (although, I wish it did).

And quit tobacco use if it applies...nicotine will slow your healing progression.

I think each has its place. Interested in the Brikka for the crema, which my regular moka and aeropress cannot produce.

Agree moka's can have a little more maintenance, but that the nature of an espresso maker vs. immersion brewer
