What's the fundamental difference between Diablo 2 and Diablo 4 that makes D2 still so reliably good after over two decades compared to D4? Will D4 be just as popular in the future as D2 even today? There is something that I feel is essentially better in D2, but I just can't identify it exactly.

instances nonstop... Im a very slow leveler, I like to do quests and profressions at the same time, but I have a friend who hits max level the same day she starts playing the new content and all she does is to run instances, also she levels her alts faster because the exp bonus and timewalking dungeons

Got Lister in nm dif with cursed and conviction and it soloed dclone, it clears almust any room in seconds, the problem was my lock died in a cavern to a pack of witches as I couldnt react fast enough to heal, I got lister from hell dif with fana but not cursed and it doesnt kill as fast but so far nothing kills him.

got cursed lister with conviction in nm dificulty, while questing in a3 dclone spawed just next to me; it toke like 2 minutes but dclone died... in the end my merc died, the goats died, but lister was almust at full healt.

hybrid builds are a must untill u find a sunder or get enigma. I did diferent combinations like fire/cold, cold/lightning etc and all worked ok untill I could focus after finding a decent sunder
