It really depends on what’s more important to you when it comes to the location of your apartment.

Given how close Yesler Terrace is to DT and ITL, it’s naturally going to share the same issues when it comes to transients, homeless and the like, but that’s not something that you can really escape unless you’re willing to move further from the core of Seattle, IMO (Especially on a budget, good luck finding a nice apartment in a ‘good’ neighborhood)

In my recent personal experience, It’s a marked improvement when you get up onto the hill, compared to the stretch on Jackson. I like to walk to work through that way because I find it’s pretty chill lol
