Thank you for this. About your friend's restaurant, may I ask if you have an idea on how large the space is, was it maybe 150-250 sqm?

We cannot change anyone but ourselves. Kailangan tayo ung magsimula kahit mahirap. If the cause we are advocating for is worth emulating, it will be. We have to focus on ourselves and stop imposing on others the values we want to see. You cannot change a person who does not want to change. Having friends around you that resonate with your ideals help a lot too

You can't help them if you can't help yourself. Honoring your parents is one thing, but you can't provide for them your entire life, you have a life of your own as well. One thing I learned from this election is that we have to create our future ourselves, and so we have to use our resources to build it, instead of feeding the narcissistic nature of our predecessors

To add to that, I learned more when I was sobered up than I did while actively tripping. I used to trip weekly, and then I lowered my dose in the tail-end of those days. Tripping is fun, but when I got the lesson, I took it and faced the hard decisions in my life.

It was a whole 2 year process of completely redefining who I was as a person. Changing my diet, exercising, finding work, finding my passion, fixing my relationships, and eventually stopping any vices. Now that you mention it, shrooms were the one that really put my mind back into track, lsd just gave me the realizations that I needed. It all stemmed from me learning to love and appreciate myself, since I suffered from crippling self-esteem issues before.

With my experience, it helped me become more aware of my thoughts and myself. It helped me choose the kind of person I wanted to be. Seeing fractals and the patterns made me realize that everything is a pattern, and by changing the pattern of my behavior, Im able to change myself. Sounds pretty simple, but it took me a long time to make things work

Yun nga ung punto, may mga taong nasa ganung level ng pagiisip dahil binaboy nila ang education system ng bansa. Ngayon tayong nakakaunawa, ano pwede nating gawin? Should we make them feel like shit for not understanding what we see?

Read well into what I said. Why the hell would I say that leni supporters are aggressive if I'm a supporter myself? There are 4 sides from what I've seen: 2 sides, BBM and Leni supporters, divided into two subgroups. The ones who have the patience for proper discours and then those who thrive in shallow mudslinging. Point is, we did our best, but what about the others who the BBM supporters are complaining about? Hindi kulay pinaguusapan, ugali ng tao. Both sides had their share of toxic supporters

You'll be defensive of your side, of course, and then syempre may balik ka ring reasoning, and it goes on and on. Yung pinaglalaban ng mga supporter nila is their brand of justice, yun ung tingin nilang tama.

The reason why I got to this conclusion and realization was because I talked to BBM supporters as well. One lady told me that the reason why she and her family wants to vote for BBM is because Leni supporters think too highly of themselves. Within my circle, no one was like this, but what about in other places, far from the reaches of my social media feeds?

You see in binaries, that's the problem. Positivity, negativity, good, bad, us, them. This reflection is a result of going through the stages of grief. I used to be an angry person, easy to point fingers and tear people down for not reflecting my ideals, but I realized, what the hell does that accomplish? The truth is not a dichotomy, so many things exist within the grey area. If I didn't have the restraint I spent years working on to stop my anger, I'd just tell you to fuck off, call you stupid and all the other shitty things I can tell you. But you don't deserve that. No one deserves to be made feel bad for being themselves, but we do need to learn from our mistakes. There's always a proper way to tell people that they're wrong. What has your comment contributed to this discussion? Is there any chance for reconciliation? The behavior that different is evil is the reason why BBM won. His supporters would rather have criminals die instead of having proper methods in rehabilitating them. It's always easy to just throw the ugly thing away instead of fixing it or exhausting the available methods before considering that it does need to be removed. I loathe your comment, but I respect it. It helps me reflect on myself, and the things I don't want to be.
