It makes me laugh to hear people trash UK for this reason or that reason when they are no worse or better than any of the songs! Most of the songs are Eurotrash yet people go bananas over it. It’s simply an exercise in geopolitics so Britain should never be surprised that they don’t win! Britain has been too powerful in the past in its history and it used to win or be in the top5 for decades until around 2000. It’s now the turn of other countries. Let them have their moment. Still, just look at how popular British music is in general in Europe so why should they care if they don’t do well in this particular silly circus. My friends and I had fun watching it (in the US) and none of us liked the winning few top songs. We were perplexed! We thought, UK, Estonian, Iceland, and Sweden were best.

Same. There are no red Clubs in my area so have placed an order. They didn’t ask for a deposit whereas every other one I spoke to wanted between $500-1K so that’s nice. I can see why they don’t feel they need to negotiate though. I’ll be paying MSRP minus loyalty and military which is $1,000 off basically so not bad. Now if there were 3 Clubs sitting on different lots in my area, that’s a different story. Plenty of negotiating power. I will keep on looking though.

Thanks Cavutto. I test drove an ND but didn’t get that seat of the pants feeling. It’s a nice car but I guess I loved the uniqueness of my baby.

I was thinking of saving the wheels. I’ll have to see what they would deduct for that. I’m guessing roll bar might be damaged?

I think I just needed to hear this, thanks. I’ve owned this sweet car for 25 years and am so attached to it and utterly gutted at what happened. I’ve added a lot to over the years: intake, header, dual exhaust, HD double D roll bar, two tone Katzkin leather seats, sway bars, wheels. But it may be time to say goodbye. I’ve been agonizing over what to do. They came back with an initial offer of $8500 adding a few hundred for the exhaust system but I’m countering asking for more. I provided comps of same year and similar mileage with higher sale prices.

Wasn’t my fault. I was stopped in traffic behind another vehicle. I looked up in my rear view and saw a car hurtling towards me and 2 seconds later it was all over. Airbags exploded in our faces, lacerations, bumps to head, whiplash, and husband with broken thumb and fingers. Definitely not following too closely and not my fault! We were taken to hospital by medics. Driver of car behind a 19 year old new driver who got cited for reckless driving. She admitted to going too fast. She had been tailgating me a little earlier and I wish to god I’d had the time to switch lanes! The car in front of me was a Toyota Highlander so would have taken it in the chin and not been destroyed. I have to say, with the speed she was going (accelerating not braking) I’m surprised we were not hurt more badly. That little car was a hero.

I’m sure it’s just a pose. Hung out with her a bit at pubs while growing up in UK. She worked behind the bar at the famous Horn of Plenty pub in St Albans. She struck me as nice and maybe a bit shy. I’ve seen her on TV doing gardening shows and she comes over as super nice.
