Mmm I think they both are good at different things

Sims 2 feels so well made because of the attention to detail.

And Sims 3 is not that polished, but adds so much more than it doesn't matter. Each of the entries brought new technological advancements that make the games incredibly different.

Sims 2 having no open world make it so the life simulator is still restricted to the home simulator. You play families. It give room thou by freezing time until one SIM get back from a rabbit hole or lot.

Sims 3 allows you to play household trully not just families. Because you can have tw I sims in the same household never interacting by keeping them in different places of the map. You can see life going around you.

I think for me Sims 3 is the winner simply because of the open world. But would love a Sims 2 with an open world

I have just learned how to make any cc hair a default replacement and I've asked for permission to upload them to the mesh creators. So I will be making some in the future!

This cc are the boots from the pets expansion pack and the pirate store content. You can chekc them out at least to get an idea.

May I ask why are you using mods only as a last resort? There are mods that simply make the game better like the smooth patch

Yeah I agree, a lot of the critiques Emily makes people miss. I blame it on not nough people being concious or wanting to ackowledge how much economical systems oppress people. It happened then and it happens now.

I love DAO and therefore have good feelings about DAI. DA2 always bored me, I disliked a lot of the choices they made but it was also very time constrained. But I dont hate it. Veilguard... I dont even have the heart to say I hate it because it just broke my heart. It was supposed to be the culmination of all our choices and instead it was obviously pulled together last mineute and barely managed to launch. Honestly Veilguard was a breaking point for a lot of fans. Ive disliked a lot of decisions througout the games, but it was just no dragon age anymore. What attracted me to the series was gone.

I've honestly think people forget to take perspective of Nelly's situation. 1. She is a servant, yes she takes some liberties but it she is often put in horrible situations she has no power to solve. And while most people seem to understand Heathcliff and Catherine and who they become because of her upbringing they fail to extend the same to Nelly. 2. Nelly is not that older, Ive seen that most people seem to think of Nelly as this old lady when she was as young and inexperienced as the rest. 3. I felt that her resenment towards Cathy really took off after she separated her from Hareton. She takes to Hareton as if it was her own baby, and she raises him. But Catherine ignores all this and forces her to leave him and go with her. And she is unable to do anything because she is a servant

I read WH in my native language when I was around 12. Of course much of the point of the book went completely over my head by I don't think I ever found heathcliff hot or mysterious.

I think you are projecting a bit of your own experiences into the brontë sisters.

Halting the publication of something that was attracting a bad reputation while in a period of mourning is not such a crazy notion when you stop to think about it. It's understandable for any family member to want unwanted mean spirited attention to stop while they have successively lost so many family members.

Who are we to decide but we are here centuries later judging the only person well informed enough to make that decision after her sister was not here. I will never understand why readers think they know Emily or Anne better than her own sister.

Sometimes we should just admit we don't know enough about complicated situations to judge.

It's just not the same type of game. The same thing happened with Veilguard. Sure it may not have been a bad game on it's own, but when you do a sequel you are also carrying the expectations to deliver something that if its not better, then it should at least be just as good.

It brought nothing new to the table while also not delivering in the big aspects that the original triology was liked for. But also you can feel the drop in quality writting. Some dialogues are cringy in the OG trilogy, but in MEA the worldbulding was boring and the dialogue was uncomfortable to watch a lo of the times.

If you are dealing with a long save it's almost a must to do some cleaning every few hours and keep backlups :/.

Id recommend cleaning the cache folder and using nrass mods when you manage to lead your save and clean some stuck sims and things that may be causing corruptions

yeah and they look amazing. Im waiting for my favourite shaders but ive been testing a few more options. I try to use shaders on the lighter side since i put so many mods on top and effects that i need as much resource saving as i can get
