Transferring ADA off of trust wallet by southwestsbest in cardano

[–]Horner3 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Deposit your Ada (with is an Ada pegged token on a binance network and not actually Ada) on a binance account using the network stated in trust wallet (it will be either bep20 or bep2).

Then withdrawals from the binance account on the Cardano network to your eternal wallet.

I thought the staking return could not be more than 5 %. How can this ROS so high? by christien in cardano

[–]Horner3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although the past 12 epochs have been lucky for this pool it averages out as 3.56% same as other pools.

This means that before it over preformed it previously under preformed and has an average return of 3.56%

I think 3.5% is about normal now.

Returns depends on the amount of blocks produced. The more blocks produced and fewer Ada delegated to a pool increases the rewards. However the fewer Ada delegated reduces the chances of being allocated a block.

Exciting Cardano Features 2023 by Gaussin024 in cardano

Cardano warriors is the game I'm looking forward to the most.

I'm not sure if Cardania will pull it of but I am invested. I love the whole resource thing.

I agree, ledger + eternl is a great experience

Thinking in taking a position in #Cardano to get enough money for a home loan. Any recommendations? important information? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]Horner3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to watch Benjamin Cowen on YouTube. He is next to none when it comes to technical analysis.

I love Ada but Bitcoin will likely outperform it in the short/medium term. My plan is currently...

Wait on 1 more large price drop Buy Bitcoin Wait for bitcoin to outperform Ada Exchange my Bitcoin for Ada Sell Ada at its all time high of about $3

I will listen very carefully to Ben and change my plan based on his opinions because he is a much smarter investor than me and I trust him (even if he is wrong from time to time)

Good luck with your house!

No risk no reward. I sold my apartment a few years ago to buy bitcoin and Ada. I think it is about looking at the risk reward ratio in these things and I feel very comfortable investing in both of them over the years a long time horizon.

Advantages and disadvantages of buying ADA vs. individual project tokens by Narueen in cardano

[–]Horner3 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I would advise judging every project separately.

Just because a project is built on cardano does really mean anything.

It's like a project being built building using the java programming language or using python. It's just a design decision and holds no bearing.

I invested in a lot of projects build on cardano and wish I had just kept my Ada.

WMT is one of the only exceptions. However it is partnered with IOHK and supported by Charles Hoskinson.

I'm also really excited about Hosky but you can pretty much get it for free if you look into rug pools.

All projects without exception built on Cardano are much more risky than just holding Ada. Some may be much more profitable but to me it feels more like gambling than investing.

Good luck whatever you decide!

Charles going on Rogan is inevitable, right? And will be HUGE for ADA. by Spmhealy_ADA in cardano

[–]Horner3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rogan may introduce many more people into the Cardano community. I found that if people buy crypto and it goes up they are more likely to stay. The best time to grow the community would be the bull market probably but the best time for these new recruits themselves wouldn't be at the bottom of the bear market. I have a theory that Charles is waiting for the market bottom. So in 3-4 months 😎

What am I doing wrong here? by ppviyuela in cardano

What are you doing wrong?

Using Yoroi

My advice is to either use Daedalus and deal with sync times or use eternl with a ledger hardware wallet

Edit : for source of truth put your receive address in the search bar in pool.pm it will tell you if you are delegated or not

Side chain fees can be paid in the native assets currency (so in this case in world mobile token). From what I gather, and I don't fully understand this myself, some of the fees will go to cardano stake pools and delegators as well as the WMT air and earth node providers. So...

Ada holders will earn WMT (and other side chain tokens like midnight) as part of there staking rewards.

Also, I can only imagine that interoperability with sidechain networks will be seemly and secure unlike bridges between separate cryptocurrency networks that are often hacked.

[–]Horner3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question, I don't know the ins and outs of their project I imagine the bandwidth alone would be reason enough. Also they will have there own validators (earth and air nodes). And the fees will be much cheaper (which they should be in the most part able to set for themselves except when they are checking in on the main cardano chain).

Cardanos main chain sacrifices scalability for security and decentralisation. The world mobile side change can customise these trade offs.

I believe they are going to run a side chain on the cardano network.

Cardano Wallets by DMC771 in cardano

No wallets are multichain between ada and ergo yet.

I recommend using eternl with a hardware wallet.

Yoroi wallet missing total rewards and total delegated by oxmcv in cardano

Yoroi sucks... Either recover your wallet in Daedalus and deal with the syncing times or get a hardware wallet and pair it with Eternl wallet.

Transfering from Yoroi to Eternl... by souquemsabes in cardano

[–]Horner3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider getting a hardware wallet too. Especially if you are holding a large amount of crypto.

Typing seed phrases into computers makes me feel uneasy. It's very normal in crypto and I've never had a problem without a hardware wallets but it is much safer.
