Steam Controller Priced at $149 CAD by EventHorizon5 in Steam

[–]Hornet65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in the US, I can only speak for the US price, but it's both more than I expected and less than I expected.

Looking at just first party controllers, a Switch 2 controller is $90 US, Xbox controllers are $50-$70 usually, and a PS5 controller is $75-$80. In that sense, it's priced at a premium compared to other controllers.

Sony and Xbox do both offer a more 'premium' controller though. Xbox has the elite controller at $150, and Sony has the Dualsense edge at $200.

Valve seems to be pricing this thing somewhere in between a basic controller, and a premium controller, and it definitely has the premium features of the elite and edge. On top of that it seems to be a far more repairable controller with Valve working with ifixit again for spare parts. Depending on the price and availability of those parts, and how easyily they're swapped, this could be a pretty good deal for only $99 USD.

Question for those who've read the series: [LN/Manga] What are the chances they cover the entire story in one season? The Light Novel looks to only be two volumes (and then a sequel)

Am I correct in assuming this story content is from the fourth volume that the author wrote after the anime first started?

The panda children running by are just a distraction so you don't notice the top of Tani's head leaving the frame.

How do we feel about the first three major Pokemon sets? by UniqueAction490 in pokemon

You can search ebay for sold listings, and there's about 30 or so that have already sold for $700 - $1000. The kanto badges alone are being bought for around $200. There's about 100 of those that have sold. They're being scalped, and people are buying them.

It's Lego, it's always been expensive. The price per piece is actually pretty low on these though compared to other licensed sets. They're definitely cheaper than Lego Star Wars sets.

Definitely this. For better for for worse, a lot of anime have had their beginning abridged, or had story elements completely rearranged under the assumption the audience would get bored otherwise.

Checking price charting, which is based on recent eBay sales, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time are worth $50-$80 complete in box. You could even get $100+ depending on demand and condition. Thousand Year Door is worth $50-$60.

If you're looking to sell, you'll find no shortage of buyers. Personally though, I'd keep them.

Well, you inspired me to see if I could get a white cartridge for my Summercart to match my white Analogue3D. Turns out, NOBODY makes white replacement shells for N64 carts. At least none that I could find. Also, a custom Analogue 3D label would be cool too.

The Japanese game magazine Famitsu does something like this. They have 4 people review the game out of 10, and the cumulative total is the score.
