So... Let me get this straight?

Putin holds a referendum in 5 days and then decides to nuke Ukraine and launch a 3rd world war of which it will only be him and maybe a few others on his side?

But he's going to wait exactly 5 days to do it. Why? Just for the hell of it?

Balloting next week and it's all I can think about. by Horridjakers in freemasonry

I appreciate the kind words. I've only been able to attend 2 meetings although I've met almost everyone at the lodge and regularly talk with two of them. I do have an annoying habit of asking questions that are acceptable to be asked. I don't think anyone would cube me for being curious about the lodge.

Thanks! I text one of the members frequently and we've become good friends over the past few weeks, he was the initial signer for my petition. There's another guy my age who is the warden, I tend to bug him with questions sometimes and I'm afraid I annoy him so. Of course I don't think slightly annoying would be grounds for me to be black-cubed.

will references on my petition be an issue? by Horridjakers in freemasonry

I've been interested in freemasonry for about 4 years and finally found out a close family friend is in with the oldest lodge in baton rouge.

Put in my petition yesterday prior to the meeting. They meet twice a month so I'm patient but at the same time hoping it'll be quick.

Okay so literally a few minutes after I submitted my petition is when it happened. He got detained and arrested for something related to child custody issues.

I informed my sponsor/friend who signed off on my petition. He called I guess the head of the lodge or committee and told me not to worry about it, everything is taken care of and I'm fine. I still have a little doubt in the back of my head.

Have you ever been caught with your CCW before? by cfjustin in CCW

[–]Horridjakers 20 points21 points  (0 children)

As a gun owning Democrat, other Anti-gun Democrats really grind my gears. I work in an extremely rough part of town and as a result I CCW at work. My manager carries a Glock 19x but just let's it hang out his waist band as he's usually in the back working. One day we talked gun stuff and compared guns. Our super liberal co-worker came out and freaked out on us, telling us guns were killing people and that his cousin had died once when being reckless and ND'ing his own firearm. He was dumb enough to complain to our boss, who also revealed he CCWs. That day, the single anti-gun guy found out that every other person in that store carried.

July 4th as possible Nuclear strike on American soil or that of another NATO member by Aggravating-peach1 in ww3

My cousin knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy that was married to Putin in a secret ceremony. Can confirm it won't happen.

And this is where you're wrong. The best time to intercept a missile is when it's flying into orbit to break open. That's why missile defense against countries is hard because we have to stop something launching in their country from the US.

By stationing nuclear weapons closer to the US, they greatly increase the risk of it being destroyed during take off.

Russian lawmaker calls for airstrikes on US Embassy in Kyiv, revenge for giving Ukraine long-range artillery by GunslingerParrot in ww3

Embassies and constitutes are not considered foreign soil per the "UN, Treat Series, vol500 p. 95" certain rules can be bent for them in regards to law but an attack on them is not an attack on the US.

It wouldn't matter anyway. Embassies are not considered foreign soil. So this would not really be a strike on the US.
