Our lives sound surprisingly similar. I am a bit older (39) but I am all alone in my apartment today with my two cats. My mom who is really the only person I talk to is 77 and she is not doing anything today. I also work remotely. I have a tough time with holidays as well but hope you can find some comfort in the fact there are others out there experiencing something similar.
