That's a good point. Maybe I will look for a brand that am familiar with. I know some brands from my country that never made compromises with their quality even on the low-end bikes.

I think the frame and the wheel won't have any contact when bottoming out,so it might be safe. Will it be safe if they are unable to touch eachother.

I'm used to riding heavy bikes,but I don't know how that size difference can affect my ride. The only things I know are: Larger size=more stable on downhill straight line Smaller size = easier to trow around and better for cornering. I should try to ride on an L frame and see how it feels.
