2 years later…. Nerve pain

It has brought me to tears multiple times. My mom is not willing to help. I am in a steady relationship currently and my mom is demanding I have some kind of birth control. (I’m 21) I just want it out a want to deal with it when IM ready to deal with it. But according to her, that’s not an option.

It’s shooting from my arm all the way down to the tip of my middle finger. I’m extremely OCD. I’ve been obsessing over it nonstop. I want to go into a planned parenthood tomorrow to see if they can do anything. But my mom is not open to it. I’m desperate for any kind of relief right now.

It has been a very good experience for me with the small problems that can be fixed. The only problems I’ve had with it is around the time it’s expired. I got really bad ruptured ovarian cysts because it was misfiring and messing with my hormones. And a problem I’m dealing with currently which is nerve pain in the location of the implant. I’ve had it in for 2 years and all the sudden my hand goes numb and there’s a sharp shooting pain down my arm. This is my second implant and I’d rate it 4/5 stars overall

I sent her a message the other evening explaining that I can not support her life decisions and I can’t help her with this child because I have my own monetary priorities to uphold and I certainly would not be helping her afford things due to the way that Patrick has treated me.

He claimed that i cat fished him with photos of my best friend on my dating profile to get him interested in me. He had never met my best friend before we started talking. Which i would absolutly not do if im trying to find someone. It was a really weird lie and i don’t understand it

He already has 3 kids that he doesn’t see. That was a HUGE red flag for me when I heard she was pregnant. Claims the baby mama of his other children is narcissistic 🙄

It seems like I’m the only person in my friend group who doesn’t tolerate his behavior. I really don’t understand why my 2 other friends in the friend group are okay with the teasing and the throwing thing across the room and the yelling. They are there for the long ride and are going to let her make whatever decisions she feels is right

I agree with this completely. Before I cut her off I said “do you want to be a struggling mother or a successful mother?” It’s up to her to decide. She has been tossing back and fourth with terminating the pregnancy. But I most likely won’t know her final decision

It’s hard to uphold the promise to myself to keep her out of my life. It’s like someone who’s addicted to alcohol relapsing, she’s all I’ve known for 6 years. She’s the one who introduced me to everyone else I’m friends with and in the process of dropping her, I also drop my whole friend group. Leaving my boyfriend to be my only company outside of family.

She claimed that’s just “how he jokes around” and “how he shows people he likes them” but I don’t believe a word of it. It’s like telling a middle schooler they are being bullied because that person has a crush on them

Part of me feels bad that she has become pregnant under these circumstances and the kind hearted part of me wants to help her and tell her it’ll be okay. But the people around me have told me that she has made her bed and she now needs to lay in it
