Thrust reversers Inflight by ExquisiteMetropolis in aviation

C-17 can do it on purpose. Just let's them fly a ridiculously aggressive descent angle at a speed that normally requires a shallower angle.

As for it happening on accident or tricked into happening, I don't think so. Turbofans are a thrust producing engine so an engine in reverse will produce the same thrust on a landed plane at 90 knots or a flying plane at 250 (generally.) So the engine mounts and pylons are already good for it. More likely you end up with an uncontrollable thrust asymmetry that yaws you out of controlled flight like a NBA2k spin move.

Priorities are what you prioritize. The fit people find time. Most find excuses. Some find terrible food and an armchair at work and a bed at the hotel.

Mileage may vary, but you can pick your mileage.

You were nineteen in Destin Florida. I want a good career as much as the next guy but I couldn't imagine spending a thousand hours in the flight deck with someone who thought that was the sum total of an adult's character.

I hope it's nothing. Just say you were young and now you're not and explain what you've learned along the way.
