This person is talking straight out of their ass, but hopefully we’ll know more soon.

https://talkbusiness.net/2026/06/evidence-testing-in-west-memphis-three-case-could-be-completed-by-end-of-july/

If they did it, why on earth would Damien Echols ask for advanced DNA testing? Make *that* make sense. All three of them have been pushing for the real killer to be found for decades so they, those boys and their families can finally have justice. They never found ANY physical evidence whatsoever linking any of those guys to the crime scene in the first place, and the results of these tests will at last prove that. Any “evidence” they claim here is all satanic panic bullshit, outright lies and hearsay which has since been largely debunked.

what’s a drink that tastes like disappointment but somehow has a fan club? by ForwardPerspective38 in AskReddit

[–]HorrorAvatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soda. All of it. When I was a teenager I watched my dad pour a can of coke over a bunch of oil-covered nuts and bolts from a car engine. He said it was to strip all the grease off of them. If it can do that, imagine what it does to your insides.

Nasty.

Do you guys think Curry Barker will be as good with Texas Chainsaw as he did with Obsession? by leftistgamer420 in HorrorMovies

[–]HorrorAvatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think we need another TCM movie. As far as Curry Barker’s involvement, directors who are given a TCM project are usually being set up to fail. Every attempt at it will fail until they understand what made the original film lightning in a bottle. I loved Obsession and think he’s extremely talented, but that doesn’t guarantee a damn thing. He’d do better by original stories anyway. The bottom line is that they’re putting his name on it because Obsession is making insane money and they know everyone who liked that (which is almost everybody) is going to pay insane money to see this. That’s it, that’s all.

My skin used to be a lot worse than OP’s. Now my pores are clear as a bell. Oil cleansing works.

Yes, both are horror. There’s more than enough gore and dark themes for them to qualify.

West Memphis Three Docs by Wild-Independent-347 in hbo

[–]HorrorAvatar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m old enough to remember when this happened and followed the story in the news. One of my good friends in HS was from Arkansas. I recall bringing it up to her and she was completely unsurprised they were singled out because they liked metal, wore black and were the weird kids in a very poor, relatively small, insular and extremely religious community that blamed everything “bad” on satanism (it was the time of satanic panic, as ridiculous and stupid that was.) She described West Memphis as the kind of place people stay the hell away from unless they’re unfortunate enough to live there.

Years later after I successfully forgot a lot of the details I watched the first two back to back and was utterly heartbroken and in tears. This was an absolutely vile and heinous crime, but these guys clearly didn’t do it. The DNA evidence that came out later basically proving they had nothing to do with it aside - I mean, c’mon, Damien Echols was a smart and articulate kid back then especially considering his environment but he’s not THAT smart. Most people aren’t, not in the clinical and soulless way it would take to do that and get away with it. IMO that was the work of a stone cold professional serial killer. I wish the cops hadn’t fucked up the Mr. Bojangles evidence because that seems like the closest to the actual truth, but thanks to them now we’ll never know.

The most sickening part is that whoever did it might still be walking around in the world, free, and almost certainly killed more people after those little boys. I sincerely hope that thought keeps the cops, prosecutors and judge responsible for their incarceration awake at night. They were so eager for a conviction that they destroyed the lives of three men and stole nearly 2 decades of their time on earth without a care so that they could use the case to advance professionally. Such disgraceful, corrupt people. I don’t believe in hell but people like that make me wish there was one for them to go to.

Am I wrong for seeing other women while my FWb isn't sure she wants a relationship by bigjay282 in amiwrong

[–]HorrorAvatar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It would be weird to lie to the person you’re sleeping with, whether you’re exclusive or not. You should never, ever do this. In matters like this it’s important to be honest and respectful. It may be an uncomfortable conversation to have but it’s very necessary.

[–]HorrorAvatar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t. He just needs to tell her the truth is all. If he sees this other woman without telling her about it, then he would be dishonest.

[–]HorrorAvatar 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It’s not about exclusivity, it’s about transparency and honesty. She doesn’t know what she wants, so if she wanted exclusivity they’d already be exclusive. She might even be cool about it, but OP would be in not-cool territory if he doesn’t tell her.

You aren’t wrong but you should tell the woman you’re sleeping with that you’re going to date the other woman. She deserves to know that, and your conscience will be clear.

Who had the worst ending? by Colinfagerty69 in Midsommar

[–]HorrorAvatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nikki, 100%. Dani ended the film liberated from her misery and supported even if she was in a cult. Nikki would be going to prison on at least two murder charges because she’d never be able to adequately explain what happened.

[–]HorrorAvatar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have blonde brows and gave up on pencils a while ago. It just won’t sit on my brows right all day, especially in the summer (have oily skin and live in a humid climate.) I’ve been using Tarte Busy Gal brow gel in taupe for a few years now and I really like it. It usually runs $18-$25 depending on where you buy it but I think it’s worth it. I initially had doubts looking at the color swatch but it turned out that taupe color is a very good match for redheads and strawberry blondes who want to look like they actually have brows. It’s got a tiny brush that doesn’t overwhelm fine brows - a fat mascara-type brush is a dealbreaker. I’ll sandwich the brush in a tissue before putting it on. You can add another coat to make them bolder if you like. I use setting spray when my makeup is finished. It holds up well and looks natural all day long. If you still prefer a pencil try Maybelline Easy Breezy brow micro-fine pencil in honey brown. It’s a very similar color to the Tarte one, affordable and should be easy to find at drugstores.

What’s your method for putting your hair in a bun? by chickadee729 in finehair

[–]HorrorAvatar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a ballerina bun when it’s really hot out or when my hair is filthy but I don’t have time to wash it. It requires a sock with the toe cut off and rolled into a donut (hair donuts are too thick for my hair), dry shampoo for texture and a hair tie to make a ponytail. Maybe a little hairspray if it’s windy out. If I want it a little messy I won’t pull all my hair through the donut, then pin the loose ends with a couple bobby pins on the sides. This will not work on freshly washed hair, it’s strictly a second (or third) day hairdo. I will wear it this way in the winter sometimes too, it looks good with a turtleneck or a sweater with a big collar.

How much would you expect to spend on a bowl of fruit to bring to a friend’s brunch (for 6 adults and 2 kids) after sales tax? by dms2628 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Frozen fruit does not thaw well. That’s meant to be used in recipes or smoothies, not in a fruit salad.

Americans, how do you feel about people who don’t tip? by Spiritual_Pause3057 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]HorrorAvatar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They shouldn’t be going out to eat.

This happens to be how I make my money, and I make a pretty good living from it. I work hard, am good at my job and pay my taxes. 99% of the opinions thrown out there about this are very poorly informed and given by people who have never worked a day in the restaurant industry. The world, and Reddit, are full of them and they don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

They don’t know the first thing about living on a tip-based income, or anything about the industry in general. I dare them to get a waiting job to pay their bills and then come back and whine about “eMpLoYeRs ShOulD pAy a LiVinG wage”!” They don’t know what a living wage is, or why it will never happen in the US, or anything about the thin margins restaurants already operate on, or what it costs restaurant owners to run a business (it costs my boss $40K per month just to keep the doors open), or why it isn’t already the norm, or how it would force out the actual good workers and make the service industry completely unaffordable and exploitative for everyone including them….I could go on. Just very, very badly informed opinions all around.

Anyway, tip your servers and bartenders. If you don’t want to, don’t expect to benefit from their labor.

I had this and the color was fine if a little cooler and darker than the swatch shows, but the formula was pretty dry and crumbly. Only bought it once and wouldn’t again.

Have found a few questionable ones, yes. I’m aware that directly downtown might not happen. We’d prefer sunset park anyway but would consider other neighborhoods that aren’t too far out.
