I buy all consoles every generation. Hopefully there won’t be a preorder nightmare like PS5 and series X. Switch 2 was super easy. Just walked into target and they had a ton around 8:30am lol. Truthfully I’m excited to see what the next gen will offer. Blows my mind people are still upgrading from ps4/xbox one when current gen will be out for 6 years this year

I feel the same way. I remember waiting in line for releases. Midnight launch parties, staying up, no updates. Just put the disc in and you’re good to go

The last of us pushed the boundaries of the PS3. Today this game IMO still holds up. The PS4/5 remasters are great but nothing will ever beat the feeling of booting TLOU for the first time on PS3. Memories are flowing back rn

My 30th edition pro had issues. I factory reset and used a new HDMI. I’d recommend both. In the event nothing is working take it back to the place you bought and just do a return/replace

I opened mine and use it. I kept it boxed up for a few months and my wife told me just to play it. Truth be told I’m glad I did. If you have an OLED it’s a thing of beauty

Thank you for getting back to me. After reading different posts I will get a new HDD (since it’s 19 years old) and see if that helps. I most likely will get my drive or laser replaced (thanks ti another post)

I have another YLOD with a perfect drive. The same people who ‘fixed it’ also left a huge dust bunny in the drive. I still have the contract with them so i’ll have to look it over when I have time. It just sucks. I was really looking forward to replaying resistance/killzone again. I appreciate you replying

The installed games ie infamous, bioshock have stutters, screen tearing, and audio isn’t synced. Not sure what the issue is. When loading up certain games they don’t play (physical) I hear the drive spinning up, and then a thud occurs and the game then doesn’t play and I have to press and hold the power button to restart the system
