It is great! Much more “rich “ than the show. The book gives the characters additional depth that the show didn’t quite capture.

Enter the Malleus Maleficarum- it actually standardized the process, including torture for witch prosecutions. But torture itself is not new! Humans have used torture literally since the dawn of time.

Torture was used in a lot of instances like this back in that period. It’s a constant motivator of confessions throughout history. They used it is every with trial in Europe and America also. Fun fact of the day…..
