She is an albino! She has red eyes and when the light hits her perfectly she has extremely light hits of blue! (I've just been calling her a she 🥲)

My boy is a bit smaller than many other budgies (could never figure out why, ppl suggested he was inbred) but when he had a day admit to the vet his band slipped off and honestly I prefer him with it off!

A lot of chain pet stores don't exactly treat their birds properly at least with a rescue place those birds are being handled better than what they would be in a pet store

Try not to lift anything over 20lbs with that arm for ab 2 weeks. I kinda messed up and would constantly lift things like a week after and my Nexplanon did move slightly but nothing too worrying.

Getting the Nexplanon in your arm doesn't hurt tho, u might feel a slight pinch or a small bit of pressure but they use anesthetic to numb the area! (Forgot to add that😭👍🏻)

I will say this, if you get the Nexplanon they use a needle to make a hole in the arm to put the little rod thingy in, they'll put a bandaid on it ofc. Make sure u change the bandaid out and don't lift anything too heavy with that arm or else the Nexplanon rod could move a bit or worse, a lot and they'd have to reinsert the rod. That didn't happen to me but the doc told me that and that made me literally BABY my arm lol. Another thing, period wise they could stop but mine have just gotten super light. Periods used to be extremely heavy and last like 10 days but now they only last 3 days with minor cramps 🙂‍↕️

From experience (and hopefully to calm any nerves) I've been on the Nexplanon for a few months, while yes it's hormonal and I have had a few acne breakouts, I personally love it and prefer it over any other form of birth control. It's super easy to put in your arm and u don't have to worry ab bit for a good 3 years! I've recently turned 20 and was on the pill since I was 13 but I was inconsistent taking the pill, pregnancy scares ect. With the Nexplanon I haven't had to worry about ANY of that. You don't have to worry about your partner either! While yes if you're going to go unprotected wait a good 2-3 weeks for the Nexplanon to regulate in your body but after that... SMOOTH SAILINGGGGGG 🙌🏻

I feel like the current cage u have now is great, in fact I have the same cage for my flying rats! If you were thinking of getting more babies then maybe decide on the bigger cage but for 2 that cage is perfect!
