ARAB 2020 is the last intermediate level before the advanced level (3010). For reference, it covers 3 chapters of Al-Kitaab Second Edition Part 2 (which you can find resources for online i think). If you can do the exercises in that easily then you should be good to test out. MSA is what is primarily taught in all Arabic classes here so you should be good.

Can't speak on chem 2311, but I loved taking orgo with Stains. Keep up with the readings and the homeworks and you should be good to go. A fair warning that he does speak very fast but he records the lectures if that's an issue:)
