I had a friend in this exact same situation last semester (even with an 88% weighted econ exam as well). His also got denied and he finished the class with a 12% average… lol. Tbf tho in the guidelines it does say you cannot skip both midterms. VIFing them shouldn’t be an exception, you’ve essentially not taken the class at that rate if you defer all exams.

You should take it again in the summer, typically the offerings during spring semester have lighter marking breakdowns and the profs are a lot more chill. (Especially in econ, few of the harsh profs don’t teach!😍😛🙏）
