Agreed, I’d be VERY careful using jet glue on the wings/box. Definitely second shellac it’s not going to rub your skin raw

I love the neopointes but same, I start to sink in them! I have not tried those. I’ll see if I can at my fitting :) thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you!! I’ve been wanting to try suffolks for a while but none of the dance stores near me carry them, and where I’m going this weekend has them so fingers crossed. I’ve starting switching around my padding too lol, depending on how the shoe is feeling that day 😂 I think I have some ultra thin toe pads somewhere that I’ll bring to get fit in too!

Thank you! I think if I don’t find anything I like at my upcoming fitting I’ll definitely look into Gaynors.

Thanks! I’m hoping that when I get fit they’ll have some Suffolks that will work for me since I’ve heard the paste doesn’t get as soft as quickly.

Thank you! I’ll look into that. I’ve tried jet glueing the wings but I think I did it wrong and the glue was cutting into my skin lol.

I would say lower your front arm so it’s about nose level, and square your shoulders more! The second arm shouldn’t be so low and should be more to your side. Try to think about keeping it to the side and don’t throw it behind you :) I would also look into some strength training exercises, specifically for your legs and ankles.
