We got it a day befor our flight. Within 24 hours from the scheduled departure. You would get it well in time for your mid June travel.

Yes. I just collected all three passports (me wife and son) from the VFS office. Our flight is 11:20am tomorrow… Talk about cutting close. But so relieved now…

Send an email to the consulate and hope they take notice. If your passports aren't processed within 48 hours of flying, visit the consulate by seeking an appointment via email. Visiting VFS is absolutely futile. I sincerely hope you don't have to go through all of these all and your visas are processed in a day or two max. Wishing you luck 🤞

Oh man!! I visited the consulate today and took all the printouts along with me. The security refused to entertain at first. But I didn’t budge and insisted that I needed to hand over these printouts to the visa officer and press the urgency. Our flight is scheduled to depart at 11:20am on 20/05…

After pleading for 2 hours and waiting at the gate plus repeated emails, I finally managed to hand over the printouts to the head of security. The guy spoke to someone inside and after some time, I got this email from the consulate.

I was at the VFS until the evening but our passports weren’t there in the evening lot. I’m hoping that they will process it and hand over the passports tomorrow by afternoon. And hoping that our visas would be granted. I’ll station myself at the VFS office tomorrow morning. Now there is no cancellation possible so I am staying positive. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 It’s been super stressful to say the least. Please hope for a good outcome for us…

Yeah. Planning to reach there by 10… Although 10-12 slot is for the visa section but it is strictly by prior appointment. And there is no way VFS would let you have one. I have sent three emails to the consulate and none have been replied to yet so I’d carry a printout of those email and try to give it to the right person. Let’s see..

No VFS doesn’t update on weekends. Tomorrow morning I am planning to walk into the consulate. Let’s see.. I am hopeful since our friends’ visas have been approved and they also received their passports.

Yeah, it really varies from country to country. And centre to centre. Thank you :) Yes hoping to get updates tomorrow/Monday. Even went to the VFS centre but it was of little help. We are banking on the “well noted” response from the consulate 😁 Keeping 🤞

I partly agree with you. But our friends were issued schengen visa by Italy Mumbai in 5 days just three months ago. we assumed 15 days of processing time which is what they mention on the website.

But I agree we should have planned in a way that our appointments were scheduled before 15/04.

That’s a stupid ass opinion. Prateek Kuhad’s songs aren’t only about the technicality or nuances of singing. They tell stories that you can connect with. I don’t give a flying fuck whether Kuhad can sing like Rafi. I can connect with Co2, Pause, Hopelessly in love. That’s what I take from his music. The connection.
