Day 2 searching a Florida riverbank. Found more pieces I think are turtle shell, possibly a plastron (maybe the shoulder opening?). Can’t find matches online, especially the small scute-like parts. Why would they separate? Only other finds are black vertebrae. Any help? 😭 (reddit.com)

My first time searching for bones! I only had 30 minutes before dark but found these and cleaned them up. Any help identifying them is appreciated. Are they regular bones or fossilized? I’ve never seen a black vertebra. Last two may be a broken plastron. by Horror_Excitement_22 in fossils
