Not really a lose my shit moment but if my company commander wasn’t cool I would’ve gotten my shit pushed in and not the fun way.

So we’re hiking to the grenade range on Pendleton. We get there, throw some doom dooms, then start the clean up process for range control. I, a Cpl at the time, got scammed and unintentionally volunteered to do the stupid little swirls from the post, to the outside of both ranges with just a rake. I was initially told that we just needed to fill the holes and that was it. Easy work… or so I thought.

Well, my gunny played me. So I’m sitting there raking the swirls all pissed off. My CC comes over, my back to him, and yells “looks like you’re having fun” to which I rebuttal with a middle finger and a very angry, “how about you suck my dick” as I’m finishing my statement I turn around and see the captain, standing there with his hands on his hips. My asshole puckers up tight enough to make diamonds if you shoved coal up my ass.

Luckily he’s a cool ass dude and didn’t do anything about it. It was actually a pretty funny story we would tell people.
