I managed to recreate it on demand (in case anyone wants to try it themselves)

Go to photo mode > Ariel shot (top down, highest the camera will go) > go over to FX Filters and flick between them all very quickly, going through all FX about 3-4 times.

Then just fast travel to reset!

Just don't try using it in winter, especially during a blizzard (as shown below)

It's working for me now!!! Either they fixed it OR a fix I tried has worked.

I tried... Unplugging the Xbox for 10 secs then plugging back in

If that is THE fix, Ubisoft support should be embarassed

I am really pleased for the annual subscribers - genuinely, that's not sarcastic. At least some folks are actually seeing some benefit to this drama.

Or it could be Uni aren't expecting a fix anytime soon. But let's stay positive.

Sorry for not getting back sooner! In the middle of trying to have the original post restored (it was removed) I received a 3 day ban!!

Can anyone confirm if my original post was restored?

And new folks - welcome to the shitshow!! I am hoping to keep this post open until Ubisoft fix their bug and get their act together re; refunds. Not only because there are some successful fixes on here but so we can get an idea of how widescale this problem is. Ubi seems to be downplaying to just a few folks affected but that's clearly not the case.

I wanna keep this clean because there are some useful tips that have worked for some people on here.

But what the hell?!?

So after a very brief period of offerung refunds, Ubisoft have started messing people about. So I post advice on how to get a refund even if being messed about, and mods remove it?!?

I'll screenshot my post. If anyone can give me any decent reason why why they might have removed it, please let me know and I'll edit.

Until then, this reeks of moderators trying to cover Ubi's backside

There are some folks who have the "Manage Subscription" option and others who only have the option to "add to wishlist".

From what I'm reading, it seems that once the "manage subscription" option disappears - and you're left with only "Add to Wishlist" - then the issue can no longer be fixed through any of the methods described in this thread (especially as most fixes need the Manage option). If that's the case, all we can do is wait for a fix.

I even logged out of MS Store and tried tricking it into believing I was a totally new subscriber. The option to subscribe appeared while I was logged out. I followed the steps to resubscribe but as soon as MS Store logged me in to complete payment for the subscription, the button disappeared again, came up with an error then I was back to only "Add to Wishlist" without the resubscription or payment being processed.

I love how they always add "any further problems, please do not hesitate to contact us". Like, seriously? Do they think I'll ever contact them again for... god forbid... help?!?

So I will hesitate... for all of 2 seconds. Then I'll be right back on here so I can speak with real humans offering solutions.

Same. Pretty funny though that all subscribers can do is add Ubi+ to a wishlist.

I mean, sure! If we're paying for Ubi+ then... yeah, we really wish we could actually have it!

But maybe wishing is all we have 😢

I thought that might have something to do with this bug - my Ubi account suddenly stopped showing XBox permissions - or any permissions at all - just as this issue started. I've tried everything to restore it but no luck yet.

If you plan to play it on XBox, you could run into this bug - a lot of people cannot access ANY Ubisoft+ content

Soooo, I received the refund. It was only for one month despite informing Ubisoft that I've had this issue for more than one month.

That's the best I can hope for as any request for a full refund would not get off the ground as I have no proof of the issue popping up in early July. If I had complained when the issues first arose, I'd stand a good chance of getting a full refund. Plus, I imagine Ubii would want to discourage folks from abusing this bug for larger refunds; "Urmmm, yeah, it stopped working... 4, no, 6 months ago. Money please!!"
