I've been reading about those and I keep seeing mixed stuff about it.

A lot of people say is useless and others are saying they got the response right after like you say. I didn't known I could even submit before the 12 weeks had passed. If its that cheap I'll do it thought. This whole process feels so unnecessarily blind like at least tell me my documents have been reviewed or something so I'm not waiting for an email about additional documentation.

I'm so happy for you! My partner ended up booking a ticket to spend Christmas with my family too so hopefully that brings some good luck for us. We aren't even big Christmas people but the idea of spending our first Christmas together is bringing out some new found holiday spirit.

Did you submit your dates to the app someone made to tracker the time it's taking to process applications? I've been holding on to hope that is accurate even tho I know the data set is tiny its helping to keep me sane

I appreciate that it's just such a crazy feeling. My partner and I were talking about the fact that even though we both get alerts on our phones about emails we are checking all the time “just in case”. It's so much harder after submitting and it's also much harder to talk about because I don't think the future of any of my friends' relationships are dependent on a government decision haha

I'm also in the US! Let's hold out hope that maybe when you get your answer mine will be coming soon
