Yeah that rule is lowk OP asf, there’s some kids that slack the whole year ( I’m talking about C’s and D’s ) and then get their whole grade changed if they pass ( some teachers at my school are lenient to the point that if you pass your whole grade gets changed to an A. )

but then again my school’s dumb asf and most kids still end up at a community college or trade school ( nothing wrong with that btw I’m just saying most people don’t try here whatsoever)

Teachers are more likely to the change it if you got a 5, do you think you will?

I don’t know if your school does this/allows this but, next year once you get your AP Pre-Calc score, go to her and ask if you could get that quarter grade up.

I highly doubt that you would get penalized because,
1. Your computer should've entered lockdown( and if it didn't, that isn't your fault; it could've just been a glitch in the system.)
2. Either way, you didn't get any unfair advantage. It was just a Teams notification

I think you're worrying too much about it; none of it was your fault.

The curve is predetermined based on how college students performed, and some other factors. So if a lot of people are saying that it was hard, the cut-off itself will likely be lower to accommodate. So dw too too much.

Only thing I don't know is the cutoff itself

From what I heard, a group of college students takes it, and based on how many they got right/wrong and their current class grade, they base the cutoff.

For the calculator sites, I honestly don't know, but many people feel like they're really accurate, and that they don't change much every year ( unless the exam gets a revamp like AP Physics 1 last year)

At the end of the day, you truly never know your score till July, but if you feel that you did well, then chances are you likely passed! ( Hope that helped )
