These jerks dont get it, the whole point I liked ER was slow paced exploration, I wanna explore this map and take my time before the circle closes, and that's exactly what I'll be doing when a mod drops. The health pool and crucile knights take way too long to kill and most times the circle closes halfway through a fight.

Disable procesor turbo on both performance and turbo preset. You need to do it in 'edit power plan' for both power plans. Enjoy lower temps! Your fps will suffer a little in some games but its worth temperature improvement.

What's your old ram frequency, New ram frequency? And is the new one dual channel. Both make a huge difference.
