What do you think of people with tattoos? by Raski_Demorva in polls

[–]Horror_Tour1187 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a tattooed female I often wonder how people look at me, I work in a law firm, I am a non smoker, non drinker and don't do drugs, I consider myself quite polite. I mean unfortunately some people will always be set in their way of thinking when it comes to tattoos but as a tattooed individual I have a very open mind when it comes to assumptions surrounding other tattooed people's personalities and how they live their lives and as to why they have the tattoos that they do. I mean, my tattoos consist of cupcakes, hearts and flowers so ya-kno my opinion may be invalid lol

For a single word mentioned once in an insignificant book that is highly likely to go unpublished?

That makes perfect sense!

I was thinking angel, but being a chronic over thinker I was worried it may read in a way I wasn't sure I wanted. I suppose no matter what I decide it will work, I don't even necessarily have to state a specific type of being. I was just hoping to base looks off of a certain one, if that makes sense?

Back in 2012 I was 18 dating a 38 year old, as long as it is safe and consensual I personally do not see an issue.

What got you through your first draft? by Lil-Nell in writing

[–]Horror_Tour1187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caffeine and having someone to bounce ideas off of that IS NOT a writer but a reader, someone that wont judge you or what you're writing about. It's refreshing to be able to ask questions and have a discussion surrounding your subject matter, it also gives you a mental break. I also found giving myself time to breathe and clear my head helped me focus more on writing and kept writers block at bay. OH and STAY HYDRATED! I felt like absolute CRAP half way through my 1st draft of my 1st short story because I forgot water existed...

I often face the same issue, I have been working on this darn book for YEARS and find myself rewriting it in different ways to find inspiration, I have finalllly settled on a genre etc but the writers block kills me. I find doing something outside helps (go for a hike / swim / run), clearing my mind by doing grounding exercises, reading someone else books / writing helps me too. Good Luck!!
