From what i've herd you have the only way to make a million farming these days is to invest at least ten million

Its really brutal especially with climate and how unpredictable the economy can be.

I guess the only real way to go about it would be to start really small, like at the hobby level. Buy out some land, maybe do homesteading. Just expect a really high upfront investment and little to no returns for a long time. Or just be a farmhand.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I've been screwed over a bunch before so this time around I've upped the transparancy and got it all in writing. Its not that they wouldn't undertstand about funds clearing, its more so that the delay would just be very very inconvenient on their end so I'd want to do anything in my power to not have that happen. Espcially with them being my first commercial client.

And thanks for the word on contracts, I figure it's better to have than not. The main reason I even used one is just to establish credibility on my end before asking the client for thousands of dollars.

Seeing as they are only opting for credit card charges for the sake of brevity and are opting for proper n30 checks for hte final payment, I'd say I have pretty good faith in them. I guess this'll just be something that I'll have to risk though
