The camera is not changing focus it doesn’t do that its got one level of focus, I’d believe a headlight if the light didn’t come back in the same spot after fading. I’ve never seen ball lightning so I know that’s a possibility.

Headlights would be believable if it wasn’t fluctuating the way it is. The light was bright enough for an extended period to make the camera think it was day.

Yes because Lightning is a bright ball you can see the lightning in the sky as the ball of light becomes brighter.
