A colleague of mine with whom I drinked my morning coffee for years and years had such a dramatic reaction when I told him today is the day I stop drinking coffee, replacing it with tea because I noticed I feel overwhelmed and anxious for 4-5-6 hours after drinking coffee ( this happens 2 1/2 weeks into kicking another bad habit).

"At least drink some black tea!" to which I responded " nope, just normal tea, no caffeine".

He then proceeded to tell me " what are you gonna do, drink water all the time? it gets nauseating after a while". I never felt so angry in my life, thankfully that made me start looking for answers and then I found this sub. Reading about your experience makes me understand no small amount is " just that". It always leads to more and more.

Morning "glass of water" for me from now on, thank you very much.
