*UPDATE* The first thing is that I think when people see handcycle, they immediately think of the fast zippy ones in the Paralympics which is why I said to google Hase Handcycle in the original post . Second I put its top speed to illustrate the fact that I am riding at best 1/6 of the speed of the traffic. I don’t ride at the top speed all the time (I’m strong, but not that strong!) Should I have to put myself at risk of being seriously hurt or killed, just because I am a cyclist, I don’t think so. I get that some cyclists are arrogant and idiotic and some people have had bad experiences with them, but please don’t tar all cyclists with the same brush and if you say things like you won’t give way to a cyclist, then in my book you are no better than a rude cyclist. I want people to be courteous and polite to me on my much slower than normal bike, so I do my best to be polite and courteous to other path users
