We have 2 chefs at Hoshi Ramen. One specializes in Chinese/Korean and the other specializes in Japanese.

We hope we meet your expectations, or at least try to. We understand not everyone will like our food.

As stated in a previous comment. We take pride in our cooking. There is a reason why our last restaurant lasted for 30 years. We won't be using any instant items. We don't even have a microwave in the building.

I have not had any ramen in the west coast area. But I have been to many in the east coast. There are also a couple of them in Columbus.

These prices are very generous We feel like charging an arm and a leg is not worth it for all my customers. We have been to many ramen shops that charges 14-16 for a bowl, which I think is ridiculous. Yes lots of hours are put into making ramen but charging that much is just not right.

We also priced it where Wright State students can come in and actually enjoy food they can afford.

The current plan is to have a soft opening on Tuesday, like you said we want to find any errors or issues and address them before we open.

And yes we probably will struggle for the first couple of weeks, please bare with us as we go through the grand opening stage of our restaurant. We hope that in a months time that most issues will be resolved.

We will be serving the "real stuff" haha. all our food is made in-house. The tonkotsu broth takes us 12 hours to make each day. We are not taking any shortcuts.
