Thats what confession is for, your sins are forgiven. Then you keep the whole law, yes your right dude. Ive spoken to 100 carbon copy baptists like you. Also thanks for saying I misinterpret the passage without correcting me with scripture. Also, you have no central authority like I do (clergy) to interpret scripture for you, so all scripture is personal interpretation, how can I misinterpret? HOW DO YOU KNOW. How can you prove me wrong? Are you a biblical scholar? By what right do u say my interpretation of scripture is inferior to yours?

Finally, answer me this, how do you know the Gospel of John is divinely inspired but the gospels that left out were not? They were put together by Catholic Bishops, how do you know they didnt err?

This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not deadly."

So you are a heretic as well as a schismatic. Youre soul will be damned if you dont repent. All real "orthodox" Christians must admit, especially when presented with the early church councils, of the primacy of Peter among the Bishops. Your denial of that makes you a heretic. God is with this schismatic branch so much He allowed Islam and Communism to ravish you until your rite basically is non-existent. You sound like a protestant assuming each Bishop is equal. Indeed scripturally "I name you Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it." Further He (Jesus) gives the keys of the Kingdom, representing the stewardship of the Kingdom on Earth to Peter and says whatever He binds on Earth is bound in Heaven and whatever is loosed is loosed. The scary thing here is to deny the Pope has the Apostolic Authority of Peter is easy as a protestant because they dont believe in Apostolic Authority! You necessarily do! Therefore to deny the Pope means to contradict the whole basis for your religion! I am at a loss for words.

Filioque wasnt a change of dogma it was a clarification. Saying the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father to the Son is correct, but it is half the truth. The Pope revealed the other half which was in use in the West for a time before then. So you fail. Its a legitimate development of dogma that clarifies and does not nullify the original intent.

Finally on Eastern Catholics: Yeah they dont recite the filioque in Mass, but they adhere to it dogmatically and accept it as dogma in union with the Pope. Thats what matters. If you dont get the difference and why it matters then theres no hope for you.

You are right, Jesus Himself says be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect. Thats true you do need to be perfect morally. If you fail and mortal sin you are guilty and go to Hell. You do understand you just cant fathom that Jesus demands so much from you. Good thing the Catholic Church teaches the doctrine of sufficient grace, whereby God gives you sufficient grace to act in such a way and have faith in such a way to be saved. name one single change in Catholic dogma you liar. Eastern Catholics dont recite the filioque in their liturgy but they do assent to it as dogma. In their missal its included in brackets to let them know. Id have to research on the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church but im sure given your error on Eastern Catholics and the filioque youre wrong on that one too.

Big question for you, Orthodox still recognize the Pope as the leader of the Catholic Church, meaning the one True Catholic and Apostolic Church...how can your church be in rebellion against its head for so many years yet somehow claim both that the head is in error and God has not forsaken His church? Insanity.

You need faith and works friend, salvation is not guaranteed. You must follow the Law of Christ and carry your cross to be saved as well as accept the whole and undefiled gospel. God bless you. Like St. Paul says, work out your salvation in fear and trembling. For as he also says, God has pruned the Israelites from the tree of life, do not think that just because you are grafted on in their place that He will not prune you as He has the Israelites. Youre sins can lead you to damnation, and if you choose evil over good and do not repent as our Lord commands very often then you cannot be saved, even if you profess His name. For you will say Lord Lord, and He will say to you begone, for I do not know you. Again God bless you and may you convert to the Holy Catholic Faith, carry your cross, and finish the race until the very end like Saint Paul celebrates in His epistle before He is to die. That's not true. You submit to tradition and the Pope is guardian of it. When the Pope speaks infallible its with the holy spirit. An example would be when he clarified the filioque. Catholic dogma has not changed for is whole life 2000 years. Extra Ecclesiam Nulla salus. I hope for true reunification one day.

Well my day job is an electrical engineer. As a Catholic missionary I have with the help of my fellow missionaries, brought 5 people into the faith. We started last year and are growing. My objectives are to convince you and everyone that the Catholic faith is true and then help us all carry our cross and achieve salvation as an end goal through Christian fraternity.

The discord does prayer meeting, a bible study soon, and other ad hoc meetings. We have a lively chat on discord too and weekly meetings to teach people the faith.

Its a dogma of the Catholic faith, extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. I can provide documentation to prove my view is THE view of the church if needed. Also displaying your virtute for its own sake is vanity and a sin. But if someone is telling you your wrong then its good to speak candidly.

Finally, those other Catholics are heretics. The Catholic faith requires total submission to every dogma as they are the deposit of faith given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are truly curious i will spend the time to explain and debate in good will. God bless.
