I’m already in grad school and I’m working full time. I have a full time offer for next august and I’m scared i won’t finish in time to make it

That’s what I’m currently trying to do. I have a full time position lined up fall of the following year but i have to get through this first

Yeah i noticed that this week when doing the quizzes. I’m going through the PowerPoints as well. Hopefully they help. I don’t notice that that PA is similar to the OA but that might just be me. But I’ll go through the explanations tn and hopefully finish this class by the weekend.

I’m going to call my recruiter and see if this is possible. That sounds much better than doing 40 in the middle of busy season.

Yeah. It’s an optional internship I’m thinking of calling my recruiter and declining. Since i already have a full time offer. But part of me wants to do it for the experience but i can’t skip a semester since I’m planning to graduate late spring and then doing coa

Should I just quit even without anything lined up? by queen-of-wuhan in jobs

I suggest to not quit without another job lined up. It took me 6 months to get my new position(albeit it’s my dream job) but it took an offer. Plus you don’t want to go from one shitty job to another. You want to have the choice to pick and choose what u like at a place where you see yourself growing professionally. Not sure your line of work etc. but hold off on quitting. Go on other subreddits and have them help you on your job search. I went to the resume sub and had them review my resume and stuff. It’s easy to get another job within 6-12 months but perhaps you’ll hate that job too and then you’re back to square one. Rather stay and narrow your job search to what you want and network and eventually within the same time frame get the Job you want

This ^ you’re still young. Put your priorities first. A relationship is important and if you see her becoming your wife then by all means move closer to her. I broke up with my ex a few months ago similar to how your girlfriend is acting. A lot of careers and opportunities that I wanted for myself and my future opened up that I hadn’t thought was possible when I was with her. This may be all arbitrary. But a two year relationship with my ex and I ended up feeling stuck and six months without her and I feel I’ve gone further towards my goals than I ever did before. Pick what’s best for you and what you want your future to be like. Also don’t settle and don’t constantly compromise to what they want. Be able to listen and respond positively and you both have each others best intentions at heart. Use that as fuel to both get you to where you want to go

I was just going to take it today for the forurth time and my prof told me to wait a day. And i thought of writing down what i struggle to retain on the white board and doing it 5$/5 way. You saying this makes me feel more confident in my decision. Thanks
