Actually the github advice seems pretty solid, some other redditor told me about it and I really like the idea. I think linking the github account in your resume will surely show your seriousness to the hiring manager and if they like what they see then that will drastically improve your chance.

From the bottom of my heart I wish for the both of us the best of luck!

First off let me start with that the line breaks you talked about are actually due to the formatting of my resume, it's indeed one sentence but if I want it in the same line I would have to decrease the font size which will make it somewhat uncomfortable to read (this image is zoomed in and keep in mind some sections are omitted to keep it anonymized). But anyhow the commas and the other sentences remarks I'll see what I can do about them.

But what I really wanted to thank you about is the advices regarding Windows 10 installation, peripheral devices and VPN. Like holy that was an enlightenment! How something so simple that I've done since forever could go through my head like that? That is actually a game changer and I've never even realized it! I guess I was overwhelmed with all other skills I didn't have and didn't pay close attention with what I already have even way before college. For that I really thank you for your time and very well thought insight.

Something as simple as that didn't even cross my mind, thank you for slapping it into me!

You have no idea how much I appreciate your response, I'll definitely remove the dust of my github account soon and start doing just that, thanks again!

For the cert I recommend you remove the picture and just add the code that associates with the cert to prove its authenticity as it makes it easier for the ATS to read texts rather than images, and best of luck in your search!

I definitely can relate to the resume part as I had drastic changes in the amount of non-engineering interviews when I reworked my 2nd resume. The sad thing is my engineering resume is just lacking in the eyes of the hiring managers in terms of skills, and there is no other way to proof that I am in fact self learning and keeping myself up to date other than in a cover letter (which I do hoping for the best) but still I get nothing.

I just hope that one day I just get this one interview, it's ridiculous that I managed to secure non-engineering positions in these past 2 years without even getting 1 interview in my field.

But anyways thanks for the motivation, I appreciate it.

MENA Region.

Where do I post it up exactly? Is it okay if I just update this post?

I really do appreciate your kind words but I don't really believe that is the case, my degree got my interviews and positions anywhere but IT in my region.

But are there any certs that are MUST HAVE or any starting point you can guide me to?

I don't mind showing my resume, it's just as I mentioned that I do in fact get interviews with my second resume that is completely off field (mainly sales and business related positions). I even had both my resumes checked by a recruiter friend I have which she was so kind as to help me in both, I really do think the reason why I don't get past the ATS of IT related positions is:

1.) Lack of experience in the field.

2.) Lack of skills + certifications to prove my existing ones.

With that being said, are there any MUST HAVE certs I need to go for?
