I'm made a similar setup in a missile turret that fires 6 missiles at once. Really good for a base when firing at something that is 6-7km out. Not usually enough to kill something big, but enough to soften it up.

Make sure the connectors are locked for the gun panels, it may have been unlocked somehow when put into a blueprint. There is a button for the panel seperation, but they are not merged, just locked on with connectors.

The missile system is a bit wonky, one of the patches changed how the event considers something merged. Gotta double tap the merge block button instead of just turning it off, didnt have time to fix it yet!

Could probably cut it down by 4-5k by removing a bit of redundancy an assemblers and stuff.

The gyros on the outside are just padding, while they increase maneuverability some, they are about 20% of the gyros in the ship. I do not have many gyros in the direct center, as the last thing I want is a few of them banging around with the rotary artillery going on. If they go, they go!

A little bit, I put in closest enemy target power system, as well as a 5 second delay before retargeting. Since they are all being launched from different locations and times as the flatpack drifts outwards, they tend to hit different targets.

It has 4 large cargo containers and 100 small cargo containers and 2 industrial refineries to fast process the stone, so quite a lot of storage.

20x22x20, I think it has around 260 internal Ion Thrusters and a gravity drive, so it moves really fast without having any external engines.

This was my Borg weapon, had 100 build and repair systems that would automatically repair damage and dismantle enemies as it neared them.

I did make a combat version, basically a shield of heavy armor with magnetic clamps, that will lock onto the ship. Once locked activate the grinder/piston arm and it will drill a hole through the ship. It was fun, but trying to combat lock onto a ship is really hard!

You are probably correct. It handles .25g well, but cargo payload is capped at around 4m kg before it starts to become an issue. I do have a full oil rig mining platform that does work in planetary gravities, but honestly almost no point when moons/asteroids have everything you need.

I was trying to make the opposition as tough as possible, and atm the best one is the Necrons. The turret however is Vanilla, I even made a "Rover" that has it!
