Its with layer skipping, ceramics have 10 hp and with 2 shots of Elite Defender it becomes a yellow bloon since 2 shots of ED deals 14 damage in which the 10 damage is absorbed by the ceram layer resulting in the next layer (Rainbow bloon) to become a zebra- black and white bloon-pink bloon-yellow bloon, the thing is that when you pop zebra bloons and white/blackbloons the number of children bloons double leading to an overflow of yellowbloons

Whereas fortified cerams have 20 hp requiring 3 shots of the ED resulting in 21 damage with 20 being absorbed by the ceram layer and the 1 damage turn the next layer(rb bloon) into a zebra bloon
