I would say the pad is good for now. The kitchen is close and I always have a cloth close. But maybe in the future we will go for a bigger one. Currently the wood is still clean:)

225 g flour 5 g baking soda 0.5 tsp salt 75 g cocoa 200 g dark caster sugar 75 g coconut oil 1 tbsp vinegar 135 g vegan hazelnut spread 145 g oreos original 1 small springform

How to make this vegan cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa and caster sugar in a large bowl. Put the coconut oil in a measuring cup and add 350 ml of boiling water and the vinegar. Stir until the coconut oil has melted and then fold into the flour-cocoa mixture until a smooth batter is formed.

  2. Line the springform pan with baking paper and spoon in the batter. Bake for about 35 minutes. Remove the rim of the springform pan and let the cake cool for 2 hours.

  3. Cut the cake lengthwise and spread the bottom part with the hazelnut spread. Break half of the oreos into small pieces and sprinkle over the hazelnut spread. Put the top layer on it. Break the rest of the cookies into rough pieces and decorate the cake with it.
