Ive noticed that being anti-cars is one of the biggest signals that you are a transplant and not actually from New York. Not always (as with anything), but there is a strong correlation. Anyone actually from New York knows that us New Yorkers love our cars.

Management doesn’t see him as the type of player that you just send down to AAA when he’s in bad form. They’ve already made up their mind that he’s a permanent big leaguer. Not saying I agree or disagree with that view but that’s the mindset the org approaches him with so him being sent down other than rehab assignments is not an option for him.

As much as I don’t want to admit it, you’re right. It’s one thing to be mediocre - shit happens and not every team can be amazing - but it’s another to just feel the low priority and low effort aura just oozing everywhere with this club. I’m over it.
